Gustav graduated from the University of the West of England in 2008 and started work as a paralegal in a large regional law firm in Southampton specialising in cross border civil litigation and matters involving clandestine entrants to the UK.

He completed the Legal Practice Course at Cardiff University in 2010 with distinction before joining Aldridge Brownlee in September 2010.
